service.

By creating an account or using YachtCV ("the service"), you agree to these terms of service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

These terms form a binding agreement between you and YachtCV, the operator of www.yachtcv.app.

You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent in your country, to use the service. By signing up you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for all activity that takes place under your account.

You must notify us at support@yachtcv.app if you suspect unauthorised access. We may suspend any account that shows signs of compromise.

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance through Stripe. Prices are shown on the pricing page and exclude any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

You can cancel at any time from your account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; we do not refund the unused portion of a paid period.

A 7-day no-questions refund applies to your first purchase only. Subsequent renewals are non-refundable except where required by law.

We may change prices for future billing periods with at least 30 days notice by email. Continued use after the change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new price.

You retain all ownership rights in the CV content, photos, and personal data you upload ("your content").

You grant us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, and display your content solely to provide the service to you and to anyone you share your public CV with.

You are responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of your content, including any references or third-party data you choose to include.

You agree not to use the service to upload illegal, defamatory, or fraudulent content; impersonate another person; circumvent privacy controls; reverse engineer the service; or interfere with its security or availability.

We may suspend or terminate any account that breaches these rules without prior notice.

The YachtCV name, logo, software, templates, and all related materials are owned by us and protected by copyright and trademark law. Nothing in these terms transfers any of those rights to you.

We aim to keep the service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, updates, or temporary outages without notice.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost contracts or missed job opportunities.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

You may close your account at any time from the dashboard. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms or use the service in a way that creates risk for us or other users.

On termination your CV content is deleted within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email and reflected in the "Last updated" date below. Continued use after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

These terms are governed by French law. Any dispute arising from them will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in France, except where consumer protection law grants you the right to bring proceedings in your country of residence.
